Cookiee Jar is a crowdfunding platform where the members can create project campaigns and present showcasing them using our platform. Users will be able to see all projects and help fund to allow the project creator achieve their goal. Cookiee Jar is also a place to discover what people all over the world are passionate about and how to get involved.

The world is using Cookiee Jar, to raise money for their personal causes and assist others with their passions and goals.
Why do people contribute to projects?
People contribute to campaigns because they want to assist the cause and also take advantage of the project perks which would be explained in the project profile if applicable.
How much does Cookiee Jar cost?
Cookiee Jar is free to join. There is a 5% fee on the money that is raised which is deducted off the final amount from the project creator. Cookiee Jar does this for you through its powerful, safe and verified e-commerce technology. See our fees page for more info.
Who do I contact if I have a question about my contribution? If you have a question about a perk, shipping address or need to provide additional information for your contribution, contact the campaign owner. For all other questions you can contact us by clicking here.
How do I get featured on the homepage?
There are various ways to get this done which may include your project popularity by views, amount of pledges recieved, etc.
Can I cancel my account?
Yes, however if any money has been raised you will not be allowed to cancel, you will need to contact Cookiee Jar support as your campaign will have to be voided and all funders money returned.
Is anyone in the world able to create a campaign?
Cookiee Jar is an international platform, so anyone with a bank account and complies with ALL their country laws can start a campaign! In order to create your campaign you MUST HAVE A VERIFIED PayPal account. To become verified, click our "start your Cookiee Jar" link, sign up for a PayPal account, through either our secured site or PayPal's site and then follow the "get verified" instructions. It's free and simple! We ask of this as Cookiee Jar is 100% secure and want to verify all our campaign creators have a valid bank account, as we directly deposit your raised funds straight into your account!
What if I don’t reach my funding goal?
Campaign project creators have the option when setting up to choose a couple different options. The options are that they may set a minimum reserve fund amount (automatically set to $5.00, unless creator changes). That feature is if the campaign doesn’t reach the reserve amount, all the funders (backers) that had donated, will have their money returned back to them. If the campaign creator's reserve amount has been met and/or surpassed, then anything raised can be awarded to the creator from that point forward. If creator selects "allow overfunding", then it means, that even if the campaign funding goal is reached, the campaign will still stay active until the time limit is reached, allowing the campaign to still raise money, even after the funding goal is met.

Pledging and Project Info?
Cookiee Jar allows campaign creators up to 2 project campaigns at the same time, with a maximum limit of 4 project campaigns per year. Cookiee Jar does NOT recommend that a creator creates 2 projects at the same time, as it is HIGHLEY recommended that each creator creates 1 project and focuses on that particular project in regards to sharing, perks, detail and initiative in order to become successful in achieving their personal campaign goal.
Cookiee Jar allows each pledger to pledge up to a maximum of $10,000.00 at one time, with a maximum of 4 pledges per project campaign.

What Currency does Cookiee Jar use?
Cookiee Jar process all funds in Canadian Dollars as primary. Pending on your PayPal currency selection & country, your raised money will auto convert into that currency & exchange rate.

"I FILLED OUT MY PAYPAL, PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND ALL THE REQUIRED FIELDS TO CREATE A CAMPAIGN BUT NOTHING HAPPENED!"
Please make sure your PayPal account is VERIFIED, as this is required to submit your campaign request successfully.
- If you are not verified, when you login to PayPal.com, under your welcome message it will say 'Status: Unverified'. That will have a link next to it which prompts you to get verified.
- Depending on your country, it may take a number of days for your account to become verified, so ensure you get started as soon as possible.
- If you need to raise money immediately, consider using the verified PayPal details of a trusted member of your family or friends. PayPal is used by hundreds of millions of people around the world.
" WHY DO SOME CAMPAIGNS SAY PLEDGE AND OTHERS SAY FUND? WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE?"
ANSWER: If you see a campaign that sais "pledge" it means this particular campaign has not met their reserve fund and all donation's are only pre-authorized and not transferred to the campaign holder, until campaign meets or surpasses the reserve limit. If the campaign sais "fund" then it means, they have surpassed their reserve fund and all donation's are being captured and transferred immediately to the campaign owner.
"MY CAMPAIGN PROJECT CREATION WAS SUBMITTED SUCCESSFULLY BUT I DON'T SEE IT LISTED! WHY?"
ANSWER: Please be advised that once your project has been submitted, it must be approved first before it will be visible on the site. Once project is approved, it will be visible on our website and available for you to share with the world! ***PLEASE MAKE SURE TO CHECK YOUR JUNK FOLDER AND SELECT THE "NOT JUNK AND WOULD LIKE TO RECEIVE MAIL FROM OUR SITE" AS YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED OF ALL YOUR CAMPAIGN PLEDGES RECEIVED AND ANY CAMPAIGN ACTIVITY THROUGH E-MAIL"***
"DOES COOKIEE JAR WORK ON MOBILE DEVICES?"
ANSWER: Yes, Cookiee Jar works on mobile devices; however, some user features such as launching a campaign through a mobile device will be limited. Cookiee Jar is best to be accessed through a computer where, operation and visual appearance will be optimal. Cookiee Jar will be launching a mobile app in near future.
"WHY AM I NOT NOTIFIED WHEN MY CAMPAIGN PROJECT RECEIVES ANY NEW PLEDGES OR ACTIVITY?"
ANSWER: Please make sure you check your junk folder! Also ensure you select NOT JUNK option so you successfully receive e-mail notifications from us regarding your project and profile activity.
"MY CAMPAIGN HAS BEEN APPROVED AND IS LIVE FOR FUNDING, BUT WHEN I GO BACK TO CHANGE THE RESERVE FUND OR ADD A PERK, IT IS NOT ALLOWING ME TO. WHY?"
ANSWER: Once your campaign is live and ready to accept funding, your after the fact, reserve and perk editing is disabled. However, if you require to re-edit or add perks to your live campaign, please do not hesitate to contact us to request the changes. We will be more then glad to review and make the changes for you.
"I WANT TO COPY MY CAMPAIGN DESCRIPTION FROM MY WORD DOCUMENT, BUT IT IS NOT LETTING ME PASTE IT ON TO THE SITE CAMPAIGN DESCRIPTION AREA! WHY? PLEASE HELP!"
ANSWER: If you are facing this issue, it could be due to a number of things. The most common reason is due to some browser's. Don't fear, it could still be done. All you need to do is, in your campaign description field box area, on the top left you will find a little icon with a small picture of a clipboard and a "w" on it. Click on it and a box will pop up. Once the box opens, you will be able to paste all your word doc. Click insert once finished and your document will appear in your description box!
"MY MAIN IMAGE IS DISPLAYED BUT NOT IN FULL, WHY? AND HOW DO I MAKE IT APPEAR IN FULL?"
ANSWER: If your main profile image is not appearing in full, then please resize it to 570 width x 339 height. The reason your image appears this way is because it is a unique size; however, don't fear resizing it to those dimensions will allow it to appear in full. If you have any issues and would like assistance with this, contact us and we will be more then glad to assist you with those changes.
"I WANT TO CHANGE MY CAMPAIGN MAIN IMAGE AND CURRENT MEDIA IMAGES, BUT EVERYTIME I TRY TO CHANGE IT, I STILL SEE MY OLD IMAGES, HELP!"
ANSWER: Nothing to worry about. Once your campaign images are saved, your browser usually stores this in its cache memory. Try erasing your cache memory by going into your browser settings and "deleting history & cache memory" first and refreshing your browser. If your orginal images are still present, after clearing you cache memory, notify us immediately.
"I CREATED A CAMPAIGN, IT'S LAUNCHED, LIVE AND READY TO ACCEPT FUNDING, BUT NO ONE IS PLEDGING, WHY?"
ANSWER: The most common answer to this is, ask yourself "ARE YOU SHARING YOUR CAMPAIGN?", Even though we do assist by raising awareness, as well as site traffic can see your campaign, it is the campaign creator's responsibility to share their personal campaign. Ask yourself a few questions about your campaign, "is it detailed? (what? when? where? why? and how?)" The most important detail you need to focus in writing in your campaign is - Why are you launching this campaign? And where is the money raised going? Uploading a profile pic, linking your social media and including as much information as possible is just as important. Think of it this way, if you do not have detailed information or images and your not sharing your campaign, then why would others support your cause? Also remember, the more popular your campaign is, the more funding your campaign will receive not to mention, will appear on our homepage. So remember, make sure your campaign is well written, detailed with information and shared, this way it holds credibility. "I NOTICED THAT SOME OF MY DONORS ARE TRYING TO DONATE, IT EVEN SHOWS THAT THEY DONATED AS PER MY COOKIEE JAR, BUT PAYPAL IS NOT ACTUALLY TRANSFERING THE MONEY, PLEASE HELP!"
ANSWER: This could be due to a number of reasons:
Your PayPal account has not been correctly setup, has been edited after your Cookiee Jar launch or it has been restricted. Please make sure your PayPal account is setup to receive US$ including CAN$ payments and you hold either a PayPal Premier or Business account that is verified.
Your donor has an isolated issue with their funding method.
PayPal may be experiencing problems.
**If PayPal confirmation is not received, please follow up with your contributor. Your contributor may be required to contact PayPal to resolve any restrictions affecting the transaction (example: Expired credit card).
Your Cookiee Jar campaign will display "ALL" pledges made. These pledges are considered "pre authorized pledges". This is not to be confused with actual successfully transferred funds.
Cookiee Jar uses PayPal to verify contributor payment method and transfer the amount to the campaign creator. It is highly suggested that campaign creators login to their PayPal account to review all confirmed transfers.
All confirmed PayPal approved pledges that have been successfully transferred, will be notified via email from PayPal. This will be in addition to the pre-authorized Cookiee Jar notification e-mail received.**
